"Karas Oni, Land of Sun and Sand...no really?" Ishi mumbled as she trudged on through the sand, tugging her coat off. "Geez, can it get any hotter in this frickin' place?!"

Seriously, it was nighttime and the lands were still hotter than hell! At least she was traveling by night. 'I wonder how hot it is during the day...? On second thought, I don't feel like being turned into a crispy crisp.'

Lelouch was engulfed in darkness with only a small glimpse of light above him. He heard someone walking and talking. 'Help me....Help me......' He could only hope that the person would hear his thoughts. With all his strength he reached for the light and managed to break the surface.

"Hmm, I wonder if I can find some food around here and--HOLY CRAP!" Ishi screamed as a hand popped out of the sand and clamped around her foot. As she tried to jerk away the hand only held on tighter until the rest of the body came free. Ishi then saw that it was a man who looked just a bit older than herself. She crouched a bit closer and poked him. "Umm...are you alive there?"

Lelouch was drifting towards unconsciousness but he still managed to say something before he passed out. "Thank.........you........I owe you........my life....." and with that Lelouch was out.

"...Okay..." Ishi said with a raised eyebrow, just staring at the unconcious form of the male beneath her. He was actually pretty cute despite the state he was in. His black hair had sand in it and he was dirty. The poor guy must have been in this place for a long time.

'Should I take him with me...or leave him here? I did just save his life...and it wouldn't be nice of me to just dump him here after saving him. ...Fine, you're coming along.'

The Kobaneoh struggled as she shifted his body so that she was partially carrying him. "Man, you're heavy..." After finding a suitable place, she made camp, making the stranger comfortable and placing a wet cloth on his forehead. Ishi then started a small fire while catching scorpions and roasting them. Hey, it was the only food she could find. Hopefully they didn't taste too bad...

'Oh it's this dream again.' Lelouch was looking out at a vast garden which resembles the one his family has back at the mansion. He looks across the grass and sees a young boy and his sister playing in the sandbox. What a pure and innocent site to behold. Then someone who appears to be the mother walks out towards the children. She is amazingly beautiful with her long brown hair and her caring smile. The children got and ran to their mother to hug her and kiss her. Lelouch automatically recognizes the scene and prepares himself to the worst to come.

As the partial family looks up at Lelouch, the scene in front of him shatters like glass and the peaceful scene is replaced with screams of a woman being murdered and torn apart. The screams sounded so real to him that even covering his ears couldn't make it go away. Blood was everywhere and the smell burned through his nose as if it were real.

Lelouch woke up growling and thrashing about.

Ishi looked up from roasting the scorpions and dashed over to him. "Whoa, whoa! Snap out of it man!" Trying to restrain him, she pinned his hands to the sides of his head and used her body weight to keep him down. When the thrashing wouldn't stop, she slapped his face, trying to bring him out of his trance.

When reality was set in place for Lelouch, he jumped back from the woman standing above him and let out a growl that sounded like a wolf.

Ishi recognized the growl and snatched up her Bo Staff, holding it defensively. "You're a werewolf aren't you?" She said through grit teeth. Ishi hated werewolves with a passion, especially considering it was their fault she was what she was now.

Lelouch saw the staff and took an offensive position. "No I am not!" he said as he bared his glistening, white fangs.

Ishi took a deep sniff and held her staff tighter. "Liar! I can smell your blood! You have the blood of a werewolf running through your veins!" Leaping, she pulled her staff back and swung hard.

Lelouch stopped the staff with his palm. "Don't clump me in with those weaklings. As I have said before, I am not a werewolf. Since when do werewolves have vampire fangs?" He smiled to reveal his teeth.

"Besides, you aren't even strong enough to take me on."

Ishi gave him a smirk and leapt a ways away. "Oh, aren't I?" Closing her eyes, she concentrated until the sand beneath the stranger's feet rose up in a large wave and covered him. It definitely paid off to have telekinesis. "Care to rethink that a bit?"

Lelouch's hands rose from under the sand and grabbed Ishi by the ankles and pulled her underneath the sand. "I will admit you got me with that but also thanks to that you have introduced me to my element. You are in my domain now."

Out of the darkness you could see the shine of two swords as well as a crescent smile.

A shiver of fear ran down Ishi's spine. What was this?! Trying to make a break for it, she tried to dig her way to the surface, wanting desperately to get away.
